PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foot rest mounting structure capable of facilitating a foot rest releasing operation by using a clip and preventing the clip from being damaged. SOLUTION: A clip holding part 12 is fitted to the front mounting part 6 of a foot rest body 2. Guide rails 12a and 12b are laterally extended at the clip holding part 12, and the head part 15a of the clip 15 is fitted to the guide rails 12a and 12b from the side of the foot rest body 2. A shaft hole 15c passing through a center part is formed in the clip 15 and inserted onto a stud bolt vertically installed on a floor panel to fix the front mounting part 6 to the stud bolt. To unlock the front mounting part 6 from the stud bolt, the foot rest body 2 is rotated sideways so as to disengage the foot rest body 2 from the clip 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
