FIELD: testing equipment, examination of properties of radial friction pairs, specifically, radial bearings of shafts of down- hole centrifugal pumps. SUBSTANCE: bed testing radial friction pairs has first frame, first shaft which first end part is designed for connection to drive and which second end part located inside first frame is intended for fixing internal element of radial friction pair on it. Race meant for anchoring external element of radial friction pair in it is situated inside first frame. Frame wall has hole in which second frame is mounted for separation and provision of leak-tightness of connection of first and second frames. Second shaft is installed in second frame, its second end part located inside first frame carries blade wheel. Face parts of second end parts of first and second shaft transmit torque from first to second shaft. Guiding apparatus embracing blade wheel is anchored on second frame. EFFECT: raised authenticity of obtained characteristics, provision for fast installation and removal of specimens, increased reliability and service life of bed, capability for testing under conditions maximally approximating actual operation conditions of friction pairs, provision for testing in any multiphase media without any re-adjustment of bed and employment of any additional equipment. 5 cl, 1 dwg
