FIELD: application of agents on surfaces of materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed unit includes substrate with accumulator made from absorbing material and secured to it. Said accumulator is filled with agent to be applied on surface. On side opposite to substrate, accumulator is guarded against surrounding medium by insulating envelope which is separated before use; said envelope is fastened with substrate over external boundary beyond space occupied by accumulator. Substrate, accumulator and insulating envelope may be single-layer or multi-layer in construction; their layers may be different in shape and sizes. Substrate and insulating envelope may be made from one piece of material. Gasket may be laid between accumulator and insulating envelope. Proposed unit may be provided with holder made from flexible or rigid material; it may be formed from substrate or may be made in form of substrate member or may be made separately and secured to external side of substrate. Substrate and insulating envelope may be tightly fastened together, thus making it possible to enclose accumulator in hermetically closed space when highly volatile and unstable agents are used. EFFECT: low cost of unit; enhanced efficiency in application of highly volatile and unstable agents. 5 cl, 6 dwg
