PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suggest an earthquake-proof structure of rack warehouse and a method therefore, capable of facilitating reconstruction for an existing rack warehouse as well. SOLUTION: A fixing means is provided which is fitted on the top of a rack structure 2 and to which an upper fixing member 12a and a lower fixing member 12b are attached downward from the above on a fixing beam member 6 for fixing the rack structures 2 to another in a row or line of the rack. A arms 10a are bridged between the upper and lower fixing members, hanging parts 10b are hung downward from the arms 10a, and an earthquake control means 9 is fixed thereto. The earthquake control means 9 consists of at least a tuned mass damper capable of moving mass in the row and line of the rack, and is structured so as to be accommodated in a rack top stage 7.
