<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a water purifier to respond to specified control points of a water purifier and to abnormalities in the device, to easily and rapidly act proper measures and to increase convenience for the control of a purifier. <P>SOLUTION: The method for controlling a water purifier aims to control the performance of a water purifier 1 equipped with a detecting means 4 which detects changes in the performance of purification or modification in the water quality of the purifier, the amount of the treated water or the flow amount by the treatment in the purifier or abnormal signals by the device of the purifier. The detecting means 4 comprises a detecting procedure to detect changes in the purification or modification performance in the water quality of the purifier 1, the amount of the treated water or the flow amount by the treatment in the purifier 1 or the control information about abnormal signals of the device in the purifier 1, and a control information transmitting procedure to transmit the control signals detected by the detecting procedure to a host center 8 through communication circuits 9 by a communicating means 7 installed in the water purifier 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
