PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric regeneration type deionizer capable of keeping stable deionizing capacity over a long period of time. SOLUTION: In the electric regeneration type deionizer, an ion exchange film is used. This ion exchange film is obtained by bonding a mixture, which contains a monomer having a functional group suitable for introducing an ion exchange group or the ion exchange group, a crosslinking agent such as divinylbenzene, a polymerization initiator and a thermoplastic elastomer not containing an unsaturated bond in its main skeleton such as a hydrogenated styrene/butadiene copolymer, to a substrate material comprising a polyolefin such as polyethylene, polypropylene to mold and polymerize the same and introducing an ion exchange group into the molded and polymerized one if necessary.
