PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain inexpensive binders for pavement from industrial wastes, for example, waste PET or waste tires and produce a composition for pavement by using the same. SOLUTION: The binders for the pavement is made from waste PET, waste tires and waste oil. The composition of the waste PET, waste rubber and waste oil are represented with a triangular diagram in which the compositions of these components are shown with percent by weight. In the triangular diagram (Figure 1), the area surrounded with 6 straight lines, A-B, B-C, C-D, D-E, E-F and F-A is defined as a binder composition useful for the pavement. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
