PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the automatic housing time of a boom. SOLUTION: The boom automatic housing device 60 has a work platform position sensor 61 detecting a position of a work platform, actuators 13, 17, 19 and 31 turning, raising and lowering, and extending and contracting the boom and swinging the work platform, an automatic housing switch 51 operated when automatically housing the boom, and a controller 71 storing a movement locus of the work platform moving via the boom by operation of the actuators based upon a detected value detected by the work platform position sensor 61, calculating a movable area of the work platform which can be housed in a housing position of a vehicle body by the boom on the basis of the stored movement locus of the work platform when the automatic housing switch 51 is operated, setting a housing path passing the calculated movable area, and controlling the operation of the actuators so that the work platform moves along the set housing path.
