PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film packing device which can efficiently obtain a film packing body of very small packing height, and prevent a bag from being damaged or a load configulation from being collapsed. SOLUTION: Before a bag B is secured, one end of a PP band 110 is chucked to a chucking part 118 of a PP band stretching device 116. After the bag B is transferred into a bag securing device 100, the chucking part 118 is moved to the proximal side so as to be across above the bag B. The PP band 110 is thus automatically stretched from the distal side of an upper side of the bag B to the proximal side. Next, the bag B is pressed from an upper part by a pressing plate 134 to reduce the volume of the bag B. In this condition, the bag B is secured by the PP band 110 by a securing device 112. The thus- secured bag body B is pressed by a pushing-out plate 124, and fed to the side of a bag securing unit 100 from a gate 106. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
