PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a drive motor in a stapler. SOLUTION: This device of the present invention is a control device for controlling an electric drive motor 2 built in the stapler by a micro-processor. A driving shaft 9 of the motor drives a staple driving mechanism to conduct advancing motion and retreating motion provided with a specified start point and inversion point, the driving mechanism drives one staple into a working object during the advancing motion, the control device is provided with a sensor for detecting a rotational speed of the driving shaft 9, and the over-all number of rotational frequency of the driving shaft from the start point to finish and transmits detected information to the micro-processor, and the processor analyzes the acquired information according to a known mode and generates a control signal for controlling a supply of a current to the drive motor 2 to control the rotational speed of the driving shaft.
