PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding torch with a protector capable of improving work efficiency while ensuring safety and precision in welding by making following of one-hand for operation of the protector needless. SOLUTION: The welding torch with a protector comprises a torch body 1 and a protector 2 for fixing which is equipped in the vicinity thereof. The torch comprises an operational tool for moving the protector which is supported at the tip of a connection member of the protector 2 for fixing to an unshielding position at the tip of the torch working together with the protector and a torch operational switch 3. The operation of the protector makes the following of one-hand needless, and the improvement of work efficiency is realized while ensuring the safety and precision in welding. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
