PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary kiln type garbage treating machine for surely decomposing/dissipating a large quantity of garbage without causing a shortage of oxygen at the step to decompose garbage by a microbe. SOLUTION: This garbage treating machine is provided with at least a rack 2, a garbage feeding cylindrical body 3 arranged on the rack 2 to be freely rotated, a driving means 4 for rotating the body 3, an agitating means 5 arranged in the inside surface part 3a of the body 3 and an air or warm air supplying means 7 for supplying air or warm air to the body 3 through a discharge port 6 formed in the prescribed position of the body 3 from the outside.
