PACKING METHOD FOR OUTBOARD ENGINE AND PACKING BOX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing box of an outboard engine capable of housing the outboard engine in the packing box by use of only a paper material such as a corrugated fiberboard box without using a synthetic resin foamed material and holding the outboard engine without damaging it due to vibration during transportation.

SOLUTION: In a packing method for the outboard engine to clamp the sidelong fallen outboard engine from upward and downward sides and house it by use of a corrugated fiberboard-made outer box, a bottom receiving kit 2 made of a paper-system member to be housed in the outer box and an upper side pushing member, the outboard engine is softly held so that a cowling 101 of the outboard engine does not strongly touch the bottom receiving kit 2 by sidelong falling the shaft casing 102 of the outboard engine on the bottom receiving kit 2 with a good balance so that the shaft casing 102 does not go down, clamping and fixing it with the upper side pushing member.
