PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photocatalyst-containing actinic-radiation-curable coating composition which can form a coating film having a function of readily decomposing contaminants and low susceptibility to contamination with good production efficiency, a coating film formed from the composition, a base material coated with the coating film, and to provide a method for preventing the contamination of a base material by using the composition. SOLUTION: The coating composition is characterized in that it contains (A) photocatalytic particles, (B) an actinic-radiation-curable urethane (meth) acrylate resin, and (C) an actinic-radiation-curable polysiloxane-modified urethane (meth)acrylate resin. The coating film is formed from the composition. The coated base material provided comprises a base material coated with the coating film.
