PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottom structure of a distillation column which, in producing a polymerizable compound, e.g. acrylic acid, by using the distillation column for purification, greatly decreases the occurrence of an acrylic acid polymer or the deposition and accumulation of solids on the bottom of the column while preventing the formation of a Michael adduct in the column, thus enabling the long-time operation of a plant; and a method for producing the polymerizable compound using the same. SOLUTION: The bottom of the distillation column for purifying the polymerizable compound is formed into a conical shape, and to the tip of the conical shape, an extraction pipeline is connected.
