Corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) antagonists having formulae (I), (II) o r (III) wherein the dashed lines, A, B, Y, Z, G, R3, R4, R5, R6, R16 and R17 a re as defined in the description, and processes for preparing them. These compounds and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts are useful in the treatment of CNS and stress-related disorders.
