<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric material which can be sintered at 1,450°C or lower without using expensive elements such as rare metal elements and with which a low dielectric constant εr and high Q.f can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: In a dielectric material constituted by a sintered compact including a crystal phase of CaNb<SB>2</SB>O<SB>6</SB>and a crystal phase of Mg<SB>4</SB>Nb<SB>2</SB>O<SB>9</SB>, characteristics that a specific dielectric constant εr is 20 or less, Q.f measured at any frequency from 8 to 11 GHz using a resonance method is 10,000 GHz or more can be obtained. Further, the dielectric material can be sintered at 1,450°C or lower, without using the expensive elements such as the rare earth elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
