PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning unit capable of blowing cold air and hot air from a FACE blowoff port and a FOOT blowoff port, respectively, in a B/L mode, without blowing cold air from a DEF blowoff port in a DEF/ FOOT mode, and an air conditioner for a vehicle. SOLUTION: This air-conditioning unit is provided with a hot air flow passage changing means 100 capable of changing a flow passage of air made into hot air by passing the air through a heater core 14 in the DEF/FOOT mode and a bi-level mode, to introduce total quantity of air made into hot air by passing the air through the heater core 4 in the DEF/FOOT mode within a duct 11 to a mixing region M.A. and to introduce substantially total quantity of air made into hot air by passing the air through the heater core 4 in the bi-level mode by bypassing the air to the mixing region M.A. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
