<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which a product group is packaged on the same line with the product group fed thereon. <P>SOLUTION: This method for packaging the product group (1) by an oriented film comprises a step of forming a product having a front-side part (F) and a longitudinal dimension (IL) following a feed line (A), a step of placing a first packaging material (2) on the product group (1) to form a package (C) to integrally hold the product, a step of discharging the obtained package (C) along the feed line (A), a step of rotating the package by the angle (α) of 90°, and a step of placing a second oriented film packaging body (3) having at least one narrow strap-like segment (3a) to surround a part of the package (C) on the first packaging material (2) on the obtained package (C).
