<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a denitration apparatus capable of suppressing the damage or the like to an inlet duct due to thermal expansion. <P>SOLUTION: In the denitration apparatus 1 for denitrating the exhaust gas of a coal-fired boiler, or the like, catalyst beds 113 each comprising a denitration catalyst are arranged in an outer cylinder over one or more stages to constitute a reactor 10 which is, in turn, supported by support members 130 to be vertically arranged. An inlet duct 20 for supplying the gas discharged from the boiler into the reactor 10 is arranged adjacently to the lateral side of the reactor 10. The inlet duct 20 is connected to the upper part of the reactor 10 to introduce the exhaust gas of the boiler into the outer cylinder from the upper part of the reactor 10. Further, the inlet duct 20 has a rising part 21 for raising the exhaust gas of the boiler from below. In this constitution, the inside wall of the rising part 21 and at least a part of the outer cylinder of the reactor 10 are made common by a single wall 11a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
