<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cleaning apparatus capable of certainly capturing soot and capable of reducing equipment cost and operation maintenance cost. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas cleaning apparatus is constituted of a water jet device 3, which has water jet nozzles 5 for ejecting water 11 to exhaust gas 2 containing soot fed through a duct 1 from the upstream side of an exhaust gas flow direction to the downstream side thereof, and a coarse filter 8 for capturing liquid drops of soot in the exhaust gas 2 condensed by the ejection of water in the duct 1 through which the exhaust gas 2 containing soot is fed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
