PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely exclude a human error of making a mis-selection in the work of a powder preparing process exposed to contamination such as dust, adhesion or the like, wherein a large number of powder containers and powders to be contained in are stored and prescribed powder containers are selected from them and arranged near a metering unit for compounding and metering. SOLUTION: The method for preparing the powder comprises the steps of fastening a punch card 11 in which container information is assigned, to the powder container 6, reading and identifying the card 11 by a card reader 13 provided at a disposing position near the metering unit, and eliminating the advancing to next working sequence at the time of a mistake, thereby excluding a stupid mistake.
