FIELD: lifts and elevators. SUBSTANCE: proposed lift with cable drive pulley contains cabin moving along guides, counterweight, guides for counterweight, cables on which cabin is suspended and drive with cable drive pulley. Drive is arranged in upper part of lift well between well space required for movement and/or overground extension and wall of well. Drive is made flat, it does not use gear wheels, diameter of cable drive pulley is smaller than diameter of stator or rotor which is made disk-like. Plane of rotation of cable drive pulley is arranged in parallel with plane between guides of counterweight. EFFECT: reduced space required for mounting of drive and lift as a whole. 33 cl, 7 dwg
