PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide selection of excavating work and crane work by a work attachment provided with a telescopic arm. SOLUTION: The work machine is composed so it can be switched to a normal work mode of excavating and a crane work mode of carrying out suspending work by a suspension hook. The machine is characterized in that it is provided with an arm lock pin 18 locking extension and contraction of the arm 7 in the crane work mode, a proximity sensor detecting locking of the arm 7 by the arm lock pin 18, a display, and a controller displaying an actual load, a rated load or the like in the display when the locking of the arm 7 is detected by the proximity sensor.
