PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing jamming of a press machine in which costs can be reduced by improving the bottom dead center accuracy in the press machine with a slide drive mechanism constituted of a toggle mechanism. SOLUTION: The toggle mechanism is provided with a first lever 11 supported by a first support shaft 4 to be arranged to a machine casing 3, a second lever 12 supported by a second support shaft 6 to be arranged to a slide 5, a third shaft 13 to connect the first lever 11 and the second lever 12, and a drive lever 14 to be connected to a crankshaft 15 while one end is supported by the third shaft 13. When the jamming of the press machine occurs and the slide is in a stop state, a long bolt 21 constituting the device for removing the jamming 20 screwed to a machine frame 3 is pressed against a contact part 10a of the first lever 11 and the second lever 12 from the side face side to the horizontal direction and the slide 5 is elevated by bending the first lever 11 and the second lever 12.
