PURPOSE: A power line grounding method is provided to minimize the quantity of excavation of an excavated portion where a grounding pole is buried and effectively perform grounding works. CONSTITUTION: The intrinsic resistance of the ground where a power line is grounded is measured using a ground intrinsic resistance measurement instrument(S12). The measured value is analyzed using a computer program to select a point and method having excellent grounding effect(S13). A hole in which a grounding pole is buried is formed at the selected point using a punching tool and the grounding pole is struck into the hole using the selected grounding method(S15). A telegraph pole having an earthing line for connecting the grounding pole with the power line is erected(S20).
