PURPOSE: An instantaneous lighting-type electronic stabilizer is provided to increase the lifetime of a lamp by supplying a state transition current through a separate state transition circuit capable of controlling a profile of the state transition current. CONSTITUTION: A rectifying unit(2) for converting an alternating current power into a direct current power is connected to output terminals of an alternating current power(1). A power converter(3) is connected to output terminals of the rectifying unit(2) in order to switch the direct current power of the rectifying unit(2) to generate a voltage having a predetermined frequency within a high frequency zone. A state transition circuit(7) is mounted between the output terminal of the power converter(3) and an input terminal of a metal halide lamp(4).
