PURPOSE: A digital door lock easily installed and a method for the same are provided to use by easily installing on the top of the door by integrating the infrared reception block and the locking apparatus driving motor and to control the lock and un-lock with a portable infrared remote controller. CONSTITUTION: A digital door lock easily installed includes an infrared remote controller(100) for controlling the lock and un-lock, an infrared receiving part(200) for generating an alarm signal when the door is opened by over definite force, a holding bracket(300) placed on the top of the door for connecting the locking apparatus driving block installed on the infrared receiving part(200) and on the inside thereof and a locking apparatus driving block(400), wherein the digital door lock is easily installed without an additional process and is capable of preventing the burglar through the emergency key hole.
