PURPOSE: A suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner is provided to clean bedclothes by separating foreign materials of bedclothes with a shaking member. CONSTITUTION: A suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner includes a body casing(10); a shaking member(20); an elastic member; a cam and a driving motor(30). The body casing has an opened portion on a lower surface. The shaking member is installed inside the body casing to be moved centering around a hinged shaft and has projections for shaking dust(22) on a lower surface to strike bedclothes. The elastic member supports an end of the shaking member upward. The cam contacts an upper surface of the end of the shaking member. The driving motor generates rotary power to rotate the cam. Therefore, the shaking member seesaws centering around the hinged shaft by an rotation of the cam. Therein, projections for shaking dust shake dust off bedclothes.
