APPARATUS FOR FEEDING FLUX INTO MOLTEN STEEL DURING CONTINUOUS CASTING PROCESS

PURPOSE: A flux feeding apparatus is provided to reduce manufacturing cost and to improve quality of an article by automatically feeding a proper amount of flux into molten steel according to a state of a continuous casting process. CONSTITUTION: A stopper(1) is connected to a pin and a guide(2) is assembled with a flux feeding box(10). A feeding apparatus includes a rotating plate(3) provided at an upper surface thereof with power transmission plates(4). An insertion hole(8) is formed at a center of the rotating plate(3). A flux feeding rotating plate(5) has blades. A pair of supporting plates(6) are formed at lower ends thereof with insertion slots. The supporting plates(6) are installed at both sides of the flux feeding rotating plate(5). Fixing hooks(7,7a) are fixed to upper ends of the supporting plates(6). A chute(9) is provided at a lower end of the flux feeding rotating plate(5).
