PURPOSE: A method of detecting an anti-allergy material using the M2 type Pyruvate kinase assay is provided to broadly reflect the effects of intercepting signal transmission elements participated in the signal transmission system of the IgE receptor, and to develop a new anti-allergy drug based on the effects. CONSTITUTION: An anti-allergy material is detected using the M2 type Pyruvate kinase of mast cells or mast cell lines by measuring the variation in the activation of the M2 type Pyruvate kinase. Specifically, mast cells or mast cell lines are processed by an IgE, sensitized, and treated with a detection material, and an allergen. The variation in the activated M2 type Pyruvate kinase as a function of the detection material is measured.
