<p>PURPOSE: To obtain the radar equipment which can obtain the approximately maximum amplitude in the result of chirp pulse compression regardless of the target position in the sampling interval of an A/D converter. CONSTITUTION: Transmission waves generated by an exciter 3 is subjected to linear frequency modulation by a pulse compressing modulator 4, and the resultant wave is radiated. The signal reflected from a target is converted into the digital video signal by an A/D converter 7. This signal is subjected to high-speed Fourier transform by an FET operator 9. Complex multiplication is performed for every stored memory of a plurality of reference functions for the different reference target positions in a complex multiplier 12. High-speed inverse Fourier transform performed by an IFFT operator 14. The maximum value detection is performed for the obtained result in a maximum value detector 16 for every the same sampling position.</p> |
