<p>The salts are formed from a dyestuff cation and a borate anion and are prepared by reacting boric acid or a borate with a cationic dyestuff, e.g. a monazo dyestuff, in which the anion is different from a borate ion. These salts may be used to prepare stable and conc. compositions suitable for dyeing polyacrylonitrile. and acid-modified polyesters and polyamides.</p> |
