LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to partially refract first light by a color filter substrate for emitting second light with expanded viewing angles, thereby smoothing the inversion of gray level and improving the viewing angles. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate(110) formed with a plurality of switching elements(120) and pixel electrodes(130), a liquid crystal layer(150) formed on the first substrate, and a second substrate(210) disposed on the first substrate interposing the liquid crystal layer. The second substrate has a plurality of color filters(231,232,233) formed with light path changing parts, to which first light is incident via the liquid crystal layer, and from which second light is emitted with expanded viewing angles by the refraction of the first light.
