PURPOSE: A biochip arrayer is provided to make the diagnosis of the biochips in easy and precise manners by differentiating the size of the spot per the respective samples. CONSTITUTION: A biochip arrayer has a bed(107) with a substrate holder(109), and a well plate fixture groove(113) for fixing the well plate. The substrate holder(109) has a substrate fixture groove(111) for fixing the biochip substrate. The substrate fixture groove has a first side for supporting the biochip substrate by way of one line or two points, a second side for supporting the biochip substrate by way of one point or one line, and an alignment boss for holding the one-sided portion of the biochip substrate. The two points-based supporting is made by way of two fixture protrusions formed at predetermined locations of the first side, and the one point-based supporting is made by way of a fixture protrusion formed at a predetermined location of the second side. The first and the second sides vertically cross each other. The alignment boss is disposed between the first and the second sides. In a method of dotting a sample at a biochip substrate with the biochip arrayer, a first sample is previously dotted at the biochip substrate with a first spot size using the biochip arrayer for the manufacturer. A second sample is dotted at the biochip substrate with a second spot size using the biochip arrayer for the user such that the second spot size differs from the first spot size.
