RUDDER HAVING HOLE TO CONTROL GAP CAVITATION

PURPOSE: A rudder is provided to fundamentally prevent a gap cavitation by preventing the reduction of pressure around a gap with a control hole. CONSTITUTION: Many crosswise holes(13) of a diameter under 50mm are formed in the back of a pintle of a rudder. The movement of the rotating direction of a rudder operating portion(2) is flowed through the crosswise holes. The relative pressure difference in both sides of the rudder operating portion is reduced. Thereby, a gap cavitation is prevented.
