<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of displaying a picture with proper luminance corresponding to a video signal despite of a temperature change and a change over time. <P>SOLUTION: This display device is provided with a current source generating a reference current, and a reference transistor. The reference transistor has an input end to which a power source voltage is applied, an output end to which the current source is connected and a control end which is connected with the output end, and has roughly the same electric characteristic as that of a driving transistor which supplies a driving current to a light emitting element which carries a pixel and, in the display device, the driving transistor is driven by the voltage (the reference control voltage) on the control end of the reference transistor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
