PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for outputting the expression an inputted word suggests in a numerical value focusing also on gliding sounds from beat to beat. SOLUTION: The device for outputting expression of a word is provided with an expression constant storage means 10 to store an expression constant which represents the contribution of beats and gliding sounds constituting a word for each expression on every beat and gliding sound, an input receiving means 20 to receive an input of a word, a word expression value output means 30 to output in a numerical value the expression of the word whose input is received by the input receiving means 20 based on the expression constant of each expression on every beat and gliding sound stored in the expression constant storage means.
