PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug receptacle which does not cause interference with fixing screws, prevents deformation of grounding members and can easily be mounted. SOLUTION: A pair of the grounding members 42A, 42B are in positions where a pair of slits 29a, 29b around peripheries of recesses 25, 25 formed in front side of an appliance body 1 of the plug receptacle are oppositely positioned interposing inserting openings 26, 26. That is, the pair of grounding members 42A, 42B are located in the recesses 25, 25 in separate positions not to interfere with the fixing screws, which positions are on the lines nearly perpendicular to the line connecting the centers of through-holes for inserting the fixing screws, whereby the fixing screws do not interfere with the grounding members 42A, 42B and the deformations of the grounding members 42A, 42B are prevented, and the mounting work of the plug receptacle is easily performed.
