<p>The invention relates to novel biphenyl derivatives of the general formula (I), wherein R<4 >represents an aromatic heterocycle, and to the physiologically acceptable salts or solvates thereof. The inventive compounds are integrin inhibitors and are used for combating thromboses, cardiac infarction, coronary heart diseases, arteriosclerosis, inflammations, tumors, osteoporosis, infections and restenosis following angioplasty or for pathological processes that are maintained or propagated by angiogenesis.</p> |
