The one-piece plastic cable tie consists of a supple strip (1) that is bent in a loop and inserted through a head (3) on one end of the strip, where it is locked by engaging teeth (14, 15) on the strip and head. The head is made with a pair of side lugs (11, 12) to retain the strip against the head's teeth, but which allow the strip to be disengaged by pulling it forcefully between the lugs.
