<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small compound antenna which works in different frequency bands. <P>SOLUTION: A first loop antenna 2 for GPS is formed on a dielectric base 10. A second loop antenna 3 for radio wave beacon in VICS is formed on the same axis on the inner side of the first loop antenna 2. Also, a patch antenna 4 for ETC is formed on the bottom face of a concave part 12 which is caved in the center of the dielectric base 10. An earth pattern is formed on the whole reverse face of the dielectric base 10. Power is fed to the first hyperbolic power dispatching pattern by electromagnetic coupling with the loop antenna 2 and it is made to work as a dextro-circular wave antenna. Power is fed to the second hyperbolic power dispatching pattern by electromagnetic coupling with the second loop antenna 3. Power is fed to the patch antenna 4 through a coaxial cable and it works as a dextro-circular wave antenna. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
