PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire connecting appliance which has excellent safety and wire connecting performance, can simply connect wires of 200 V in service without removing the insulation-sheath thereof, and can be used many times. SOLUTION: A wire connecting member and pressing members made of insulation material (nonconductive material) constitute a lengthwise-divided wire-connecting main body with the end sides of the members integrated with axes. A single-wire inserting operating through which the single-wire to be connected is inserted is located in the center of each of the end sides thereof, and pinching and piercing teeth are plurality brimmed on the inner side of semi-cylinders of conductive material which connect the openings inside of the wire connecting main body.
