PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and the number of assembling works by constituting a fall prevention mechanism and a shutter opening/closing mechanism of a disk by using the same components. SOLUTION: This device comprises a tray 9 to carry out a reciprocating movement, between a first location pulled out of a housing in order to place and hold a disk 1 or a disk cartridge 3, and a second location accommodated in the housing 11 in order to mount the disk or an optical disk in the disk cartridge. The device further comprises a shutter opening/closing member 7 which interlocks with the reciprocating movement of the tray and moves so that a shutter 5 maintains in an open state in a second location where accommodates the disk when the disk cartridge has been mounted in the tray, while being freely movable between a location where restricts a radial amount of disk movements when placing and holding the disk in the tray, and a location which allows the mounting of a cartridge when mounting the disk cartridge in the tray.
