PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric/mechanical/acoustic transducer capable of obtaining a stable and sufficiently large mechanical vibrating force even when a use condition is changed. SOLUTION: The electric/mechanical/acoustic transducer is provided with a diaphragm, a movable section, a driving section for generating a driving force for vibrating the diaphragm and the movable section, and a suppressing means for suppressing the sharpness of a vibrating force to be obtained by the vibration of the movable section. Also, this portable terminal equipment is provided with a case body and an electric/mechanical/acoustic transducer installed in the case body. The case body is formed with a sound hole so that a sound to be generated by the electric/mechanical/acoustic transducer can be emitted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
