<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving circuit for organic electric field light emitting elements in which deterioration in the intensity of light emission is suppressed and service life is made longer. <P>SOLUTION: In the driving circuit of organic electric field light emitting elements, a plurality of anodes A1 to A3 and a plurality of cathodes B1 to B4 are made to oppose with each other and are crossed. An organic layer at least having a light emitting layer is provided between both electrodes. One of the electrodes are made as drive lines and the other electrodes are made into scanning lines. All of the scanning lines are defined as one field and scanned at a prescribed frequency and the crossing points become pixels E11 to E34 for light emission. Capacitors C11 to C34 having a prescribed additional capacitance are provided. Note that a bias voltage Vr is applied to the capacitors C11 to C34 in the direction to cancel the electric charges that are charged to parasitic capacitors of the pixels E11 to E34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
