PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lock device which is made to be smaller by preventing the increase of the number of components and which can lock a shift lever at a plurality of selection positions. SOLUTION: The shift lever 15 is supported so as to be operable in a front and rear direction and a left and right direction along a shift gate 14. A first restricting part 95 for restricting the movement of the shift lever 15 between an R-position and an N-position, and a second restricting part 96 for restricting the movement of the shift lever 15 between the N-position and an S-position, are formed on a stopper plate 82. A shaft extending in a vertical direction penetrates the stopper plate 82 at a hole 101, and the plate 82 is supported so as to be rotatable around the shaft. The stopper plate 82 is made rotatable to be at a lock position where the shift lever 15 is locked at one of the R, N and S-positions after the first restricting part 95 is moved to a part between the R and N-positions, and the second restricting part 96 is moved to a part between the N and S-positions and also to be at an unlock position.
