PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind direction adjusting device which automatically and manually adjusts wind direction. SOLUTION: This adjusting device comprises a vertically slidable slide link 6 interlocked with two or more blades 3 for adjusting the direction of the air blown out from an air outlet port and a rocking means 6 driven by a rotating drive source 12 rotated in one direction to slide the slide link 5. The blades 3 are rocked through the slide link 5 by the rocking means 6, whereby the parallel wind of the air blown out from the air outlet port is automatically vertically swung, and a characteristic wind for diffusing or concentrating the air is generated in the middle of automatic swing. Accordingly, since the air blown out from the air outlet port is automatically swung and blown to the whole cabin, a comfortable interior environment is easily obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
