PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a melting system requiring no equipment for cooling combustion exhaust gas, and requiring no processing equipment of the sucked combustion exhaust gas by directly extracting the combustion exhaust gas without cooling the combustion exhaust gas. SOLUTION: A melting system has: a melting furnace 1 for burning pyrolyzing gas and char at a high temperature; discharge equipment 4 and 5 for discharging slag generated in the melting furnace; and a secondary combustion chamber 7 for reburning combustion exhaust gas generated in the melting furnace. This slag melting system is provided with: an ejector 12 for sucking the combustion exhaust gas via a combustion exhaust gas extracting pipe 8 arranged under a slag tap of the melting furnace; and a fan 9 for sending driving air into the ejector for sucking the combustion exhaust gas in the ejector. Mixed gas 13 of the combustion exhaust gas from the ejector 12 and the driving air is inputted to an inlet part of the secondary combustion chamber 7 as secondary combustion air.
