<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility to grasp the status of a copying job and a printing job at a time, in a printing system having as a printing means an image forming device such as a digital copying machine capable of both processing copying of manuscripts of paper, etc., and processing printing of electronic printing data. <P>SOLUTION: The copying job is inputted directly to the digital copying machine 10. The printing job sent from a client device 40 is managed by a print server 20, which converts the printing job to a form of data to be printed by the digital copying machine 10 and provides it to the copying machine 10. A control part 11 has information for controlling the copying job, which is held by the digital copying machine 10. A control part 21 has information for controlling the printing job, which is held by the print server 20. Furnished to the control part 11 and/or 21 is an integrated job control part which puts together the information for controlling the copying job and the information for controlling the printing job held by each of them and displays them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
